I took an unconventional path to product design. I studied political theory in college, and started a chocolate business a few years later that surprised me with its success. I liked designing for the retail experience, and that sparked my fascination with how people discover new products and brands.
I believe in the value of uncertain routes and uncharted terrains. Exploration delights me. I’m particularly interested in work that explores the question of how people connect with each other, and how as designers, we can enhance and promote that human experience.
